Baking and Pastry (certificate, associate degree)
The Baking and Pastry program prepares students for professional careers in commercial baking establishments, restaurants, hotels, pastry shops, country clubs, catering jobs and entrepreneurship. WCC’s program specializes in hands-on experience, classroom lecture and flexible scheduling. The college is one of a handful of schools in Michigan to offer an associate degree in this field.
Culinary Arts (certificate)
This entry-level certificate quickly engages students in foundations of cooking, baking, pastry and hospitable customer service. Upon completion, students are ready for entry-level food service positions in restaurants, hotels, resorts and casinos.
Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management (associate degree/3+1 transfer)
This program produces well-rounded culinary arts and hospitality professionals. Students are exposed to exceptional classic and modern cookery techniques, servant leadership, customer service and the decadence of the baking and pastry arts. This associate degree is American Culinary Federation accredited.
